Vizio is an American technology company founded in 2002 and headquartered in Irvine, California that designs and sells televisions, sound bars, user data, and advertising.

Vizio is mainly characterized by selling smart televisions at prices much lower than those of the competition, these prices are achieved thanks to the fact that their televisions are subsidized by the data they sell from users, Vizio obtains more income from advertising and data sales than income from the sale of electronic products.

Its main markets are the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

Vizio's smart TVs come with their own operating system called SmartCast OS, which uses both Google's Chromecast and Apple's AirPlay to stream content from an Android or iOS device.
